INTERNATIONALISATION
The MIFC Leadership Council signed four Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) during Global Forum on Islamic Economics and Finance (GFIEF 2024). The objectives of these memorandums cover the following broad areas:
Islamic Finance Products Innovation
Both organisations have the intention to collaborate to promote and support the promotion of Islamic financial products that meet the evolving needs of the society including among others the areas of Islamic banking, Islamic capital market, takaful other Islamic non-banking services, Islamic digital finance, Islamic micro finance, Islamic social finance and Islamic sustainable finance.
Development of Cross-Border Financial Activities
Facilitating and promoting the development of cross-border financial activities, to support the Islamic Economy activities, which include among others the Islamic businesses, entrepreneurship, and the halal industry.
Capacity Building and Education
Collaborating on initiatives aimed at increasing knowledge and skills in Islamic finance which can be achieved through training programmes, seminars, workshops and joint research projects.
